Green Sea Jewels Earrings

Earrings made from recycled textured window glass and sterling silver.

These jewels are inspired by fossicking for beach glass. I love the way that years of tumbling in sand and sea wears away the jagged edges of randomly broken fragments so that they resemble something neither manufactured nor wholly natural. I have reduced this process to a few days and nights of tumbling in a rubber barrel attached to an electric motor powered by an off-grid solar array, but please don’t tell anyone.

Sea Jewels earrings are sterling silver and reclaimed glass from demolition yards, artisanal scrap and old bottles.
